And another jubilarian

Since 1988, the Schweers Group has done pioneering work in the field of recording parking violations and parking space management. When the company started out, the hand-held recording devices, which were very heavy and large and a great effort for the traffic wardens at the time, were still produced in-house. Hard to believe, but true! They still exist, the employees from the early days, who could fill entire volumes with stories about their experiences at the company. On May 1, for example, project manager Stephan Meiser took his well-deserved retirement after 36 years. One employee, who had already completed her training at the company, celebrated her 35th anniversary in August and could make it to almost 50 years by the time she retires.

Now, on September 23, 2024, Ernst Grewe from the development team was honored for 35 years of service to the company. Michael Schweers particularly praised the fact that he has always been a mainstay of the company in countless projects as a programmer. Ernst Grewe was presented with a certificate for this. Another member of the development team, who is now retired and works part-time, has been with the company for over 35 years. Michael Schweers does not take this for granted. While many companies are confronted with high staff turnover, Michael Schweers is extremely grateful for the loyalty of his employees. In recent weeks, five young employees, including trainees, have once again joined the team at the Schweers Group and Meerbusch-Osterath. And this mixture of long-standing employees who are happy to pass on and share their knowledge and young new recruits makes the managing directors Michael Schweers, Dirk-Oliver Harms and Hecham Haykal extremely optimistic about the future - at a time when skilled workers are desperately sought after!
