CBX implements Politess Handheld LPR Inventory Solution

Cross Border Express is an exclusive pedestrian bridge for passengers from the Tijuana International Airport, allowing passengers to cross the border between Mexico and the United States.  Established in 2015, CBX has seen a 30 – 40% growth since inception, handling 2.9 million passengers in 2019.

To help better manage their explosive growth, CBX turned to Schweers to develop a highly optimized handheld License Plate Inventory solution.  Daily, each parked car is scanned using our handheld Politess LPR Inventory app on rugged Zebra devices.  A complete tally of all parked cars is made in a web based hosted office available for any authorized user complete with photos linked with location and time stamp.  Fast, efficient and user friendly our mobile LPR Inventory solution radically improves the agent’s work load, reducing previous time spent by 50%.  Schweers is proud to be involved in future developments in partnership with CBX.
